About Dr. Leah Lawson
Dr. Leah Lawson is a Chiropractor with a special interest in head, neck, and jaw pain. She is passionate about helping you move better, feel better, and get back to doing what you love through a combination of hands-on chiropractic techniques and therapies, including soft tissue therapy, acupuncture, cupping, scraping, and rehabilitation exercises.
Following several significant head injuries while playing intercollegiate rugby at the university and provincial level, Dr. Leah found such relief through chiropractic care that she decided to become a Chiropractor herself. After completing her Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology at Western University and graduating with honours from New York Chiropractic College, Dr. Leah also earned her Masters Degree in Anatomy and Physiology Instruction and has completed the Neurofunctional Acupuncture program at McMaster University.
Dr. Leah is a registered Chiropractor in Ontario and is a member in good standing with the College of Chiropractors of Ontario (www.cco.on.ca). A hockey player since age 4, Dr. Leah still loves the game and after years of playing at competitive levels she still enjoys playing and being a referee. Beyond hockey, Dr. Leah is a volunteer firefighter with the McDougall Fire Department, and is an avid outdoors lover.
