About Dr. Leah Lawson

Dr. Leah Lawson was born and raised in Barrie, Ontario where she played Barrie minor hockey for over 10 years. She also represented Ontario at the national rugby championships for over 4 years. She graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a Bachelor of Arts with honours specialization in kinesiology. She sustained several injuries while playing intercollegiate rugby, and found chiropractic care to give her the greatest relief. This led her to pursue her chiropractic education at New York Chiropractic College. She gained extensive clinical experience working at Miami Veterans Affairs Hospital, and graduated with honours.

Dr. Leah treats at Vitality for Life Health Center in Barrie, and at Bayside Wellness in Collingwood. She treats neck and back pain, sport related injuries, head aches, sprains, and strains. She is passionate about getting you back to doing what you love by using a combination of hands-on chiropractic techniques, manual and instrument assisted soft tissue therapy (graston and cupping), as well as exercise prescription. She is also able to fit you for custom compression socks.
